craniosacral therapy berkeley

Hi, I'm Emilia. I spend my days working with bodies that are asking for attention—usually after years of being ignored or pushed through pain.

What I Do
I am a Certified Massage Therapist (CAMTC), trained in Upledger CranioSacral Therapy and have additional training in Hakomi and other somatic modalities. I've also spent several years in ongoing supervision with a somatic psychotherapist, which continues to deepen how I track the relational and emotional dimensions of this work.

I hold a BSc in  Physical Therapy and have worked in the medical field for 8 years. That taught me the science, but my yoga practice taught me to listen. Most of my work happens somewhere in between those two worlds.

Who I Work With

  • Tech professionals battling the physical toll of screen-centered work

  • New parents navigating the profound changes of caring for little ones while caring for themselves

  • Women in midlife reclaiming their relationship with their bodies through perimenopause and menopause

My Approach
What I love about this work is helping people remember that their bodies are actually pretty wise—they've just been talking in a language we forgot how to understand. Sometimes it takes slowing down enough to really listen.

This work is bodywork, not psychotherapy. It can be a wonderful complement to talk therapy or other mental health care, and I'm glad to coordinate with other practitioners on your care team, but it isn't a substitute for licensed mental health treatment.

Emilia is incredibly knowledgeable and skillful in her work. With an extensive background as a physical therapist, her bodywork is a lovely blend of gentle, powerful, and intuitive touch - can’t wait for my next session!
